Rainbow: Nisha Rokubō no Shichinin

Homeworld – Swarmer Battle

Many people think they know a great deal about life, and have every urge to share their enlightened opinions on how love and acceptance solves every problem. Perhaps they genuinely intend to help others with their equally genuine wisdom. Perhaps they impulsively seek social influence through even the most poorly conceived methods – as a monkey howling loudly.

Others, however, seek to strengthen their kin through different means. Rather than painting wonderful and comforting fantasies, they paint the bleak and heartbreaking. What an incomprehensible method – to spoiled, fortunate children whom find minor inconvenience tragic.

Rainbow: Nisha Rokubō no Shichinin, like many favorites in my library, is painful to watch. You will have emotional responses, which you may wish you hadn’t. But, if you have a shred of decency and intellect, you might find it beautiful to rare degrees. I genuinely hope you do. There are bad people in the world; it’s best to be ready for them.

As to what the series entails – no spoilers. And if you had no trouble dealing with that series, I suggest you watch “Grave Of The Fireflies”. I won’t watch it anymore; it’s too painful. Ah, and Rainbow was originally a Manga, I believe.

  1. Rainbow is literally a 10/10 show for me, it’s always a plus when an anime can’t be compared to another one.
