Daily Life.

Nanjing! Nanjing!

When not working, my activities are pretty uneventful. For the most part, I’m playing video games, reading, watching shows, listening to music, or cooking. Occasionally, I’ll build/repair something. If I had company, I’d get into board games and the like. I keep a organized but slightly-messy, spacious, and well-stocked home. I also like to keep a garden when possible.

Though I’d prefer a more social life, I find the majority of people intolerably primitive in their reasoning and actions, so my company is limited to the creations of the few sane and decent: art. Given the massive body of art in existence, I keep myself quite entertained, if not content. I could be much happier with company, but I make due.

There’s really not much more to it than that. I live a life that’s appears quite dull, but is mentally marvelous. In books, movies, games, and music, I live quite adventurously – unhindered by the billions of idiots that dominate daily life.

Why not go out and live these adventures in person? Because most of them simply aren’t possible, or would require my putting up with mountains of savages along the way, or more time and energy wasted than actually doing anything – not to mention an absurd amount of funding. Why bother?

No, I prefer a comfortable and safe home, where everything I need is gathered – including the art [and the internet which allows me access to the largest possible quantity of it] which allows a far more fulfilling life than otherwise available. Though I suppose I can’t fit a lovely river into my home.. but I could build it near one.

That’s basically it. I mean, aside from utilizing all the insights granted by art to improve my already advanced philosophy, and fapping like a Bonobo.
